RESTORATIVE - ALL LEVELS (70-75F)

This yoga class is a gentle, calming, therapeutic.  Students use props to support the body in relaxed poses.  Ease into relaxation and balance while the teacher gives nurturing touch to help decrease stress and promote deep relaxation. All levels welcome including students working with injuries.

 

 


YOGA BASICS - BEGINNER (75-80F)

New to yoga or need a refresher? In this basics class you will learn foundational poses and relaxing breathing techniques to balance, stretch and strengthen your body. Yoga basics is a Hatha yoga class that will inspire confidence to join any class you wish.

 

 


STRETCH - ALL LEVELS (70-75F)

All postures are done on the floor and are held longer to allow the connective tissue to stretch (knees, pelvis, sacrum, spine and the deeper layers of fascia). The meditative quality of this practice promotes relaxation, compassion, patience, and an indestructible sense of well-being on and off the mat.  This class will slowly increase the flexibility in even the most inflexible bodies. Perfect for athletes and anyone looking to increase physical and mental flexibility.

 

 


YOGA FUNDAMENTALS - INTERMEDIATE (75-80F)

This class extends your beginner’s experience by focusing on alignment and specific breathing techniques.  Also great to awaken your existing practice using Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Anusara techniques. The teacher will give you guidance through verbal cues and manual adjustments. You will grow more confident in each pose by learning the best shape for you.

 

 


ASHTANGA YOGA 1.5 - INTERMEDIATE (80F-90F)

This system is rooted in the classic style of Basic Yoga. This system utilizes dynamic movement to build heat through cardiovascular strengthening. The static postures stretch and tone the entire body, improving circulation while calming the mind with deep resonating breath. You will leave with more elevated and sustainable levels of energy and equanimity.

 

 


LY BARRE - ALL LEVELS (75F)

Life Barre is an integrative class that lengthen and tone your body.  This format not only uses Barre training, but also includes the best parts of Yoga, and Pilates to increase body awareness and develop lean muscles..  No previous experience is needed to receive the benefits of lengthening and strengthening.  You will leave feeling taller, vibrant, and more centered.

 

 


SLOW FLOW - ALL LEVELS (75-80F)

Slow Flow is for students looking to experience their yoga practice at a slower pace with your eyes closed.  This class encourages Thai Chi type movement, linking breath with poses.  By keeping the eyes closed, the core is strengthened while allowing you to deepen your postures based on breath and promote the mind-body connection. It is not how the pose looks on the outside, but how it feels beneath the surface.

 

 


HOT YOGA - INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED (85-95F)

This is a heated class that links breathing and sequential poses in a continuous flow to build cardiovascular strength. The teacher first introduces the sequence, then empowers you to continue at your desired pace, resting when needed. After “the warm-up”, standing poses are held longer to build strength and endurance of the body and mind.  This is followed by seated stretches, back-bends, optional inversions, and twists leading to a blissful, well-earned rest.  You will feel detoxified and ready for any challenge.

 

 


POWER FLOW - INTERMEDIATE (70-75F)

While no heat is added to the room, your body will definitely heat up through this active class.
The class moves through self guided warm ups for improving memory and cardiovascular strength into long held postures that bring focus to the mind and strength to the body. The class winds down with seated postures to stretch the body and ends with a relaxing rest.
